Post n°11: Communities of Practices (CoP) are one of the most important pilar of the (Implicit) Knowledge Management. It allows companies to create and to share Knowledge by navigating through their Silo’s.
Few skilled people with a clear mission (validated by the Business) can quickly deliver amazing outputs having a clear impact on Quality, Efficiency and/or Productivity… therefore on EBITDA. CoP’s are easy to set-up and requests limited number of resources. Do you agree ?
Additional comment : Communities of Practices is at the heart of the Implicit Knowledge Management. By implementing CoP's within your companies, you of course increase the dissemination of knowledge but you also increase (formal or not) networking activities
