In organization, wherever you work for an operational department or for a support department, any employee reports to a N+1 responsible (functionally and/or hierarchically).

The KM manager is maybe the unique person that responds to an unfinished number of people because its mission is to contribute to create a collective intelligence organization. The KM manager is dedicated to connect people to people and help them providing the correct information to make the decisive action or take the relevant decision. The aim is of course to increase Collective Intelligence.

Be aware that the KM manager is fully dedicated to your success and not to its position inside the organization. Cooperate therefore with him/her.
