Post n°21: KM or no KM ?
Yesterday, I had a dream,… . In this dream, people were OK realizing that :
- decreasing our profitability ==> yeah, it ‘s OK
- having a high rate of customer dissatisfaction ==> yeah, it ‘s OK
- producing poor quality products or services ==> yeah, it ‘s OK
- in being systematically late when delivering ==> yeah, it ‘s OK
- reorganizing our company every 2-3 years, … ==> yeah, it ‘s OK
At dawn, they were all OK to NEVER consider Knowledge Management as a powerful success enabler !!!
7.00. The clock rings. Nightmare is over. Of course, you will for ever from now on consider Knowledge Management as a powerful enabler !!!
Do you prefer the nightmare or start engaging your company in a collective intelligence story ? Please review also my post 17 (Why KM ?)
Additional comment : the Dublin KM Summit has demonstrated the importance of setting a real KM framework to develop the necessary strategy. Artificial Intelligence (AI) must be and will be used in parallel with KM, each one reinforcing the other.
